This model also supports other CPUs like ULTRA 5/7/9 (series 2) processors
These processors include high end CPU, GPU and NPU (neural processing unit for AI)
CPU sub types includes the faster standard models which run at 65W TDP or the cooler T models which run at 35W TDP
These systems can be expanded by adding either a 2 slot or a 4 slot backplane together with a 3 slot or 4 slot chassis extender
This allows you to add PCIe (or PCI) IO cards as needed
The basic unit comes without a fan but for full operating temperature range you need to provide external airflow or fit the optional external fan to the unit
For applications where heat issues might occur it is suggested to select a model with a 35W TDP CPU and or to add the optional external fan.
