Our History

CME was established in 1993 and has spent decades working with businesses on industrial computing and technology projects.

Over that time, we have built strong relationships with trusted local and international suppliers, giving us access to a wide range of industrial computers, components and specialist hardware.

Our experience spans industries including factory automation, defence, rail transport, mining, agriculture, medical, manufacturing and other demanding environments.

What we do

We import and distribute industrial computing hardware, including panel PCs, fanless box PCs, embedded computers, rugged systems, edge AI computers and specialist components.

We support customers who need hardware for automation, machine control, SCADA, HMI, machine vision, industrial IoT and harsh environment applications.

For UK customers, we aim to make buying simpler by offering UK VAT invoicing, clear landed costs, import duties handled and delivery managed through CME UK.

Our solutions are sourced from selected and qualified local and international suppliers. We carry stock of our more popular items enabling our customers to quickly test and evaluate items. We also get weekly air shipments in from our suppliers, resulting in short lead times on items that we might not keep stock of.

We have a wide product range ensuring we can effectively meet our customers’ requirements. We import most of our products from our various suppliers. This enables us to offer products from more than just one supplier, which provides our customers with a wider range of potential solutions.

On occasion, we do make items available on-loan allowing our clients to fully evaluate our products to ensure correct functionality before purchasing.

We know that off-the-shelf products don’t always meet your needs. Our technical team can customise products to fit your requirements, saving you time and effort. We also handle repairs locally, so issues can be resolved quickly without unnecessary delays.
